Your account, your call
Delete your account.
You can delete your Jura account yourself, in under a minute. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no recovery window and no "deactivated" limbo.
From the app
- Open Jura and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab → Settings.
- Choose Account → Delete my account.
- Confirm. Done — immediately.
From the web (no phone needed)
- Open the Jura web app and sign in with the same account.
- Open Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- Confirm.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@jura.best from the address your account is registered under, with the subject "Account deletion request". We verify the request comes from the account's own email and process it within 7 days. A person handles it, not an autoresponder.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted immediately and permanently: your profile and all its details, your photos, your verification selfie (if still within its 72-hour life), your matches, your conversations and messages, your likes and swipes, your participation in Occasions, and your sign-in credentials.
Retained: records of moderation actions — reports made about or by the account, and the actions taken — kept as a permanent audit trail for community safety. These records contain no photos, and your conversations are not retained; only the fact and outcome of moderation events.
Photos sent in chat and verification selfies expire automatically after 72 hours in all cases, deletion or not — that is Jura's standing policy.
Before you go
- Deletion cannot be undone. If you return, you start fresh.
- Your messages disappear from your matches' apps as well.
- If something felt wrong — a person made you uncomfortable, something needs reporting — you can still write to support@jura.best after deleting. Losing your account does not mean losing your voice.
